This pillow was made for a dear friend. We once lived in the same town and then were thousands of miles apart. I made it remembering and missing all the cups of coffee and chats we had shared.
This pillow is hand appliqued, machine pieced and hand quilted. I finished it with piping and a ruffled border.

I’ve always loved to hand quilt. I didn’t start free motion machine quilting until 1997, mainly to finish some quilts faster.
